Volunteer with Momentum
Momentum’s year-round events provide an opportunity for people of all ages to make a difference in the lives of children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions. At these events, your time will be spent helping and connecting with others who are committed to our mission. We also welcome corporate volunteer engagement, along with sponsorships.
Volunteer Opportunities
Adult & Pediatric Programs – Programs throughout Momentum’s pediatric and adult services offers the opportunity to directly see the work we are doing to improve lives. Community members and businesses can get involved throughout the year.
Camp Escapades – The event is considered one of the most popular youth volunteer activities in the South Bay. Many of our camp volunteers sign up year after year to participate in a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity to become a “white shirt” that serves as a camper’s buddy during camp. Volunteers are typically students over the age of 14. Volunteers not only enjoy a meaningful experience that gives back to the community, but they also enjoy opportunities to build better leadership and social skills. Many of our youth volunteers are from South Bay high schools, volunteer organizations, and local colleges and universities.
Momentum Celebrates! – Our annual gala is an opportunity to enjoy a day of celebration and fundraising for our organization. Located in Thousand Oaks, this premiere event is a beautiful evening under the stars with delicious food, engaging entertainment, and camaraderie with community members.

Momentum Golf Classic – Every summer we hit the links for the day, raising money for a great cause. Volunteers can enjoy a gorgeous, full summer day on the golf course.
Educational Opportunities - Momentum is proud to align with universities and educational institutes to offer hands on learning in our pediatric and adult programs.
Administration Opportunities - Momentum offers meaningful volunteer opportunities in a professional office setting, where individuals can support administrative tasks, assist with special projects, and contribute to the organization’s day-to-day operations.
